01Together

Students helping students

Ask when you are stuck and answer when you can help. Students explain ideas, ask follow-up questions and offer other ways to approach a problem, so one good explanation can help everyone taking the same course.

Example question screen: a question with an accepted answer and discussion
Example screen · a question and its accepted answer
  • Accept what helped

The person who asked marks the answer that worked for them. Other members vote on the contributions they found useful.

  • Keep the discussion going

Ask follow-up questions, add another way of looking at a problem or improve an answer that nearly works.

  • Watch a question

Follow a question you care about and hear when it gets a new answer. Bookmark discussions you want to study again.

02Asking

Ask with the context people need

Explain where you are stuck and what you have tried, and tag the question by course and topic. As you write, Edulinks.ng checks for questions that may already answer yours, so good answers are found instead of repeated.

Example screen: writing a question with similar questions shown alongside
Example screen · similar questions shown as you write
  • Similar questions first

Related questions from your course appear beside your draft, with the reason each one matches.

  • Course and school context

School, department and course details put your question in front of the people best placed to help.

  • AI help, clearly labelled

AI can help you shape a draft. Anything it helped with is marked as assisted, and it never posts or answers for you.

03Trust

Tell a checked answer from an unchecked one

Acceptance, votes and review are shown as separate signals on every answer. Community validators check answers against published guidelines, so you can see which have been reviewed before you rely on one. Review adds context; it does not guarantee an answer is correct.

  • Separate signals

An accepted answer helped the person who asked. Votes show what members found useful. Review shows it was checked against the guidelines.

  • Report and appeal

Anyone can report content. Moderators explain their decisions, and you can appeal one you disagree with.

  • Validators from the community

Experienced members can take on review, working through new answers, proposed edits and reported content.

04Study groups

Find people to study with

Join groups around your school, course or shared interests. Work through difficult topics, discuss past questions and prepare for exams with people studying the same material.

  • Open, request or invite

Groups can be open to anyone, require a request or be invitation only, depending on how their admins set them up.

  • Questions in context

Questions asked in a group reach the people most likely to know the answer.

05Your profile

Build a record of helping others

Your profile brings together the questions you have asked, the answers you have given and the ones that were accepted. Reputation grows as your answers help people, and a weekly leaderboard recognises the most helpful members in each school.

Example member profile: reputation, questions asked, answers given and accepted answers
Example screen · a member profile
  • Reputation for helping

Accepted answers count for more than votes. Reputation reflects contribution, not correctness.

  • Your data, your choice

Export your data or leave at any time. The answers you gave stay available to the students they helped.
