Examine the reasoning. Learn from your decisions.
Pitch Prophet helps adults examine the case for a football bet and learn from how they make decisions. It brings together match research, supporting and opposing evidence, and a journal for understanding when they act, wait or skip.

A short list, and a reason for everything else
Each morning Pitch Prophet scans the fixtures in the leagues you follow. Where the model’s estimated chance differs enough from the chance implied by bookmaker odds, and the model has a reliable record on that kind of prediction, it publishes a read. A bigger gap alone is not enough.
The model's assessment favours acting. You make the decision.
Important information may be missing, or the model may be uncertain.
The comparison with the market may offer no clear reason to act.
Everything else, explained
Every other fixture is listed as scanned, with the reason there is nothing to act on. On a quiet day the daily email says so.
Any team or fixture
Fixtures lists every match in today’s scan with its label. Team pages show how reliable the model has been on that team.
Once a day is enough
The daily view is designed to be read in a few minutes. There are no streaks and nothing urging you to come back.
Read the case and what could change it
Each read opens into a brief: the claim in plain language, the argument, the evidence and its sources, and the specific things that would change the model’s mind, written before kickoff.
Model against market
The model’s chance and the chance implied by the odds, side by side, and the gap between them.
Best price, with its age
Prices across tracked bookmakers, marked with how fresh they are.
A stake within your limits
A suggested stake based on your bankroll and daily limit, and how often comparable reads were right.
Act, wait or skip. Every choice is recorded.
You make the decision, and all three choices are logged. Pitch Prophet does not take bets or hold money, so if you act, you record what you actually did with your own bookmaker.
Act
Record the stake and price you took, or note that you did not place it.
Wait
Get notified when team news lands and see what changed before you decide again.
Locked at kickoff
Predictions lock when the match starts, and the brief is kept exactly as it read.
The model and your reasoning are graded separately
When a match settles, two things are graded: whether the model was right, and whether you reasoned well. Keeping them apart means a good model cannot hide poor decisions, and a run of bad luck does not punish sound ones.
Your journal
Each decision is graded on its reasoning, not on whether it made money. See whether your confidence matches what happens.
The model’s record
Every settled prediction, right or wrong, and whether its confidence matched how often it was right.
Weak spots named
Results call out the markets and situations where the model is poorly calibrated.
The figures on these screens are examples from the design prototype, not a measured record. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.
Keep risk in view
You set a bankroll and a daily limit when you start, and every suggested stake works within them. None of this removes the risk of losing money.
Limits that hold
Tightening a limit takes effect at once. Loosening one waits 24 hours.
Breaks that stick
A break pauses reads and suggestions and cannot be cut short once it starts. Permanent self-exclusion is available.
Quiet by design
No streaks and no celebrations for wins. Links to responsible-gambling support are always in reach.
Questions about Pitch Prophet
Who is it for?
Adults who want to be more selective about football bets, examine the evidence and understand their own decision patterns.
Can I place bets through it?
No. Pitch Prophet provides research and a place to record decisions. It does not hold your money, connect to your bookmaker account or place bets for you.
Does Act mean a bet will win?
No. It describes the model's assessment under its decision rules. The assessment can be wrong, and you can lose money.
Why would it say Wait or Skip?
Important information may be missing, the model may be uncertain, or the comparison with the market may offer no clear reason to act.
Are the journal and results the same?
The journal helps you examine your choices and reasoning patterns. Results show the model's predictions and recorded outcomes, so you can assess its performance separately.
